The BIG HALF

Next Sunday 7th September I’m running in The BIG HALF, a half-marathon that follows part of the route of the London Marathon (from Tower Bridge to Greenwich). I’m running for a small but very special charity: https://www.pacecoldfire.com/ - which was set up in memory of a young musician, Thomas Kareem Crosbie, aka PACE, who sadly took his own life in 2016. I’m sure I’m not alone, to know several people who have taken their own lives. I am doing this run in their memory as well as for PACE, and with the hope that we can increase support for those of us going through dark times, especially in the arts where the challenges can often feel insurmountable.

Thomas Kareem Crosbie, aka PACE’s vision was to form a creative hub in East London; that would promote young people’s wellbeing, both mental and physical. The Thomas Crosbie PACE Foundation was established to continue his legacy. He was also a keen runner.
