Piano Trio Premier in Utrecht & Amsterdam - 23rd & 24th February 2023
Guess where I am?...
Yes, very happy to be back in The Netherlands - rehearsing with the super talented Van Baerle Trio for the world premier concert of my first Piano Trio tonight at the TivoliVredenburg (TICKETS) in Utrecht. Composing for the very ‘classical’ format of Piano, Violin & Cello has actually been a revelation! - so interesting to reach back into the tradition, and at the same time explore new sounds, textures & rhythms.
There will be a second performance on 24th February, at the Muziekgebouw (TICKETS) in Amsterdam at 8:15pm. And then a radio broadcast on NPO Radio 4 next Wednesday.
