Music Saves The World London Show - 3 November 2023
LONDON GIG ALERT... Friday 3rd Nov 2023. - Just added an important Fund-raising concert to my schedule, joining 4 other talented musicians from Ukraine & Russia performing MUSIC for PEACE - something we should do whenever we can - but more important that ever now - with two disastrous wars happening on the doorstep of Europe right now. I'll be performing works for Strings & Electronics on themes of Protest, Human Rights, the hope for peace, and more. I'll also be representing EMMA For Peace (for whom I'm an ambassador artist). I'll joined on stage by Herman Ringer (violin) & Ben Finlay.
This eclectic event will showcase a captivating constellation of talented and stylistically diverse musicians. Pianist Fyodor Biryuchev will also perform his own compositions in the spirit of Romanticism, Olga Glazova will demonstrate the beautiful art of traditional gusli performance, pianist Vladyslav Kuznetsov will perform the 1988 “Metamorphosis” by the minimalist composer Philip Glass, Synecdoche Montauk, the project of a London-based, Moscow-born singer-songwriter Savva Rozanov, will present a special acoustic set.
